Forgot your password?

It happens to everyone. Type the email address you used when you signed up, and we will send you a link to set a new password. The link works once and expires after a short time, so use it soon after it arrives.

If you do not see the email within a few minutes, check your spam folder. Sometimes it ends up there. If it is still missing after that, try again with a different email address in case you registered with another one.

How the reset works

Enter your email, hit the button, and wait for the message. Inside it there is a link. Click the link, pick a new password, and confirm it. After that you can log in with the new password right away. The old one stops working.

Pick something you will remember but others will not guess. Long is better than short. A mix of words is easier to remember than a random string of symbols.

If you no longer have access to that email

Then the reset link will not reach you, and we cannot send it to a different address without proof that the account is yours. In that case, the simplest fix is to create a new account with an email you can access. If you had uploads or comments under the old account, mention it through the contact form and we will see what can be done.

Still stuck?

Use the contact form and describe the problem. Mention the username if you remember it, and the email you think you used. We will do our best to help, but please understand that account recovery has to be careful. We would rather take an extra step than hand an account to the wrong person.

That is it. Try the reset first, and if that does not work, write to us.
